I hold an Advanced Diploma in Integrative Counselling and actively engage in regular clinical supervision and continuous professional development (CPD). Additionally, I possess an Enhanced DBS Certificate for working with vulnerable adults, professional liability insurance, and ICO registration. I am an Accredited Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP Accred), (joined in 2008), and I strictly adhere to their Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions.
Alongside my private practice, I am registered with Bupa, AXA Health and Aviva to provide counselling and psychotherapy sessions.
In previous years, I have provided counselling sessions to NHS patients through the IAPT Service, working with The Eaves in partnership with the NHS Surrey and Borders Trust. I have also served as a Specialist Mental Health Mentor, offering support to university students, and volunteered as a bereavement counsellor at Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice.
It's easy to get the ball rolling. Contact me by phone, email, text, or via the contact page, and we can arrange a free, no-obligation, 30-minute initial telephone consultation. This will help you decide whether counselling/psychotherapy is the best form of support for you. If working together feels comfortable, the next step is to agree on a day and time for our (usually weekly or bi-weekly) 50-minute sessions. I offer the option of short-term, long-term or time-limited therapy.
My consulting room is in central Farnham, Surrey, with nearby parking and good public transport links. In addition to in-person sessions, I offer online therapy via Zoom, WhatsApp, and phone.
Private counselling/psychotherapy sessions are priced at £70 per session. Private healthcare fees are agreed with the provider.
